Why play Omaha?

It's kinda fun, although I only really play it when it comes to freeroll or low stakes. Something different from Hold em

just tried a omaha tournament and came 46 out of 3500. lot of fun.

Well, if you get A234, for one thing, and the cards on the board are all low, with one of them being a 5, you are guaranteed some of the pot in H/L. In H/L, you should strive to play only those hands that have a chance at high and low, but if you have a good low hand and at least 3 lows on table, then you need to play it.

Point was you may not sweep the pot, but you can tell which hands will get you some of it.

so always play small hands then.
