Greetings fair traveler,
Today we visit a noob with a tiny bankroll, won from freeroll MTTs. Our noob, filled with confidence from having outlasted many hundreds of similar noobs, even if just on a few occasions, sits down at a cash game in the hopes of increasing her meager allotment of pennies.
Having played only no limit and pot limit, our noob decides to plunk down a buyin at a sure-to-be easier fixed limit micro table.

[Part Two]
Slowly but surely, our noobs stack of pennies drifts outward from in front of her, to the stacks of her opponents, who seem to play every hand and bet or call to the river at least half the time.
But hark! Our noob, having heard of pot odds and having a basic understanding of them, notices that she too is calling all the way to the river with outrageously bad hands, all because after the flop the bets are so small relative to the pot size.
"Surely it must be correct to call these turn and river bets if pot odds favor it," our noob thinks to herself... as more and more of her pennies migrate to enemy stacks.
[image of flying pennies and a dejected noob]
And thus did our noob discover the importance of taking future betting into consideration when contemplating the flop.

Thats the reason why they would even posts them too.

One fine evening, young (let's just say young) noob signs up for yet another freeroll with a field of thousands.
The television is on, but BBC America has been repeating the same show all evening, so it's not really a distraction.
Though quickly doubling up off a flopped monster flush, the little noob starts out playing what she considers pretty tight, and ends up having well over double the average chipstack heading into the dreaded "time of the antes."
59th place. 92nd place. 148th place. Suddenly, out of nowhere, and for no reason, the noob has gone from 40BBs to under 10.
The noob decides to push sometime soon.
K10s come the hole cards.
No, decides the noob. Not good enough.
5BBs+SBs+Antes*9.
Q10o UTG.
No, definitely not, especially not UTG.
4...
A6o, middle position with no callers!
Not yet. Not yet.
The noob eyes the bubble. So close! If only a few more people would bust out. The .30 could be hers!
3...
It doesn't look like the people ahead of her noobness have any intention of playing any hands. Curses!
2...
Q10o again, once again UTG.
Finally, the noob pushes.
4 callers and the noob exists a few places from the bubble.
And this is how young noob learned you can't continue to play super tight through a whole tournament and expect not to get blinded out.

Tight Aggressive is great, when you have the stack to do so, but getting short, tight is the wrong answer. It will take time and experience to learn how loose you should have your range, and for every person that will be different. But as long as you learn, I wouldn't consider you a n00b. N00bs don't care to learn.
