    Ring games

When is the best time one would say to move up in the stakes to the next level...For example from the .02-.04 to the .05-.10?

Is it when you have 20-25buy ins if your doing max buy in each time or does it vary depending on what you buy in with at the tables?? Also does it make a difference for the amount if you multi-table while playing these type of games??

    Thanks for your input

The amount of buyins I am not positive on, I think it is player dependent but I would say 20 should be the minimum.
The #of buy ins is not the amount you buy in for, it should be counted as if you are buying in full, which if you are not, you should be.
The amount of tables you play does not factor in, as far as anything on BRM I have read.

Well if you want a good bankroll management it's better be careful how much you play for.

Ya I have always been told/heard that 20 is the min and that it is based on the max buy in even if you buy short. When it comes to live play some places have different max buy ins so it would be a judgment call but always a good idea to keep a strict BR management system in place or you could go bust. Then again when I go play at the casino once in a blue moon( I live 5 hours away and a poor student) I just bring what I want to buy in for and that is what I play if I loose it I am done and will go back to the table games

Good post and some good advice, when I sit down at a cash table for me I don't ever buy in for the full amount, just a superstition I have for myself.
