If I'm correct, you got points because you outlasted the donkey. There's a prizepool on the donkey, and it's split amongs those that outlasted him.

this before each merge tourney you can "bid" to become the donkey if you make it to final table (top 3 i believe) you win a share of the prizepool if you go out before this stage the amount of points you bid (plus 50 points the house bids) gets shared between the remaining players....now can new members PLEASE learn about the site to prevent these "silly" questions there are plenty of threads and videos explaining how each promo works (vids need updating though)

Go to the bottom right of the creen and click on pin the tail. Then click on FAQ. it will tell you how it works.

A person bids to become the donkey, if you last longer than the donkey than you win points from a pool!

Thank you to those that answered my question . I did read about, just didn't understand that I didn't have to bid to win.
