What-up ladies and gentlemen!
OK, so I have been on this forum for just over a week now, and have decided it is time I introduce myself.
Name: Gefishy (my real name will come out eventually but I don't know everybody here yet)
Location: Madison, WI (Home of the teacher rallies of the previous few weeks. Craziness, yep it happened.)
Marital Status: Happily married (5 years in August!)
Age: 27
Birthday: 3-28-1983 (Golden birthday coming up Monday! WOO WOO!!)
Other info: I noticed there may be some interest in MMO's. I used to play WOW and have a couple characters, one being a level 80 Night Elf Druid. I don't play anymore because I don't have the time and therefore was not worth the $15/month to maintain the character.
I have been playing poker casually now for a few years. My first big win was in a Vegas cash game where I turned $50 into $750 in about 2 hours. Then I went back a few years later and played in a $25 tourny but didn't find out until I signed in that it was a rebuy/addon tourney and I only had the $25 + entry with me... I still won! I was the only one who DIDN'T rebuy OR add-on, though everybody else did both. I then proceeded to party with my wife for the next 24 hours (no sleep) walking up and down the strip and gambling at literally every casino that looked like one. It was awesome
My big goal now is to play online poker without investing a single penny in it. Since getting heavily into it about 3 weeks ago, I am maintaining a bankroll over $20 on full-tilt now which may not sound like much, but it is a lot considering I started with $0 and no deposit. This forum has helped a lot what with my winning one of our free-rolls and turning in a bunch of points for dollars and all.
I am very thankful to those I have have run in to here. People seem pretty awesome so far. There are some crazy people screaming "PASSWORD" for no good reason or otherwise donking up our tourny's but then there are people who give back (like JB) which tell me that this is the kind of place that I can learn, have fun, and grow as a poker player. I hope to do the same thing as JBrazon and cash out on a decent tourny and host my own free-roll here. Until then, I appreciate you guys taking me in and making me feel welcome. I appreciate Zab for the hard work he does making this site interesting and fun everyday.
Finally, I look forward to getting to know all of the regulars. As time goes by, I look forward to seeing all of you at the tables and winning your money! (JK)
Take care!

Most people that scream password are the ones who come here for only that reason. If theres no freeroll on you will see the true members of the site. Its a fun site. Someone is always playing something so alot of oppurtunities to rail something which is fun too. I seen the pokerowned freeroll for first time on full tilt about 2 months ago. Since then i havent looked back. Its the first page i load up when i log on to the net and leave it runnin throughout.
We always thankful to get new members to our team. And i look forward to railing your final table sometime and witness your bankroll growing first hand.
