It doesn't take that long to get used to the site. Once you do, it can be fun playing the freerolls and playing with your points on the client.

It is and it isn't bad. I'm new too and although sometimes you have issues with points not being awarded, if you actually follow the guides and go through support ( it's a pain in the ass and slow ) you will usually end up with your points in the end. Just set up some gmail adress for the spam like it suggests, and when you reach the part you need to make sure to take a screenshot of it and it can be uploaded to imgur.com for the support to view.

i've gotten points days after going thru the system - it is tedious but it works if you follow up
