the river can be brutal but it is very important to relize when your beat on the river lol
..the river will also be your bestfriend at times i know we have all hit a river or two in our playing

Its impossible how I am losing important hands on river card... I am sure that you know that situations, when you are sure that you are better than "the other guy" and you are trying to get maximum of chips from him... so trying check-raise or small raises like "I have nothing I am just trying to steal pot" ... but then came river card and everything is wrong

Once you learn how to hit rivers, you'll be a pro; it's easy. Best advice is to actually set yourself up for hitting them from draws or even with ak-aq-aj hoping to hit a high card.

One of the best ways to hit rivers with a-high is to wait for a pot where most of the plrs folded which means they all had low cards so the chances of hitting one of your over-pairs are maximized.
