I have referred a few people through tournaments I have played in.. so far only one of them has actually tried to earn points, the others simply state it is too much to go through to play the free rolls. If I find someone at a table that I think might actually benefit from the site I will usually ask them if they are interested in poker forums and I tell them up front how you have to earn points to get into the tournies.. if they are interested I put my friend referral link in the chat.
