If your going to do downloads make sure you have sandboxie. It keeps the download from going on your computer

+1 definitely, here is a little more detail to people who don't know what sandboxie is or what it does

I'm not going to promote sandboxie, because there is a lot of excellent choices for this and my preference is different, do your research and pick one that fits you best. Sandboxie IS a very easy to setup option however

you're tellin me. this crap really slows you down. make sure you uninstall them after you get credit.

the real issue is it doesnt help to uninstall unless you know what to look for you have to deal with:
- Other programs installed besides it
- Registry entries not cleaned out in uninstall
- Browser addons (and worse, COOKIES) it leaves in system
- Adding other items such as altering homepage in your browser
- Scraping computer for info like email itll send to home base
Just to name a few lol. Look into sandboxing your computer, no matter which one you decide, going to download on main comp is like rawdogging a stranger, and using an AV is like putting on a condom with holes in it (May not get a virus, but doesn't mean you wont get pregnant)

a lot of toolbars could also slow down your computer
