You have to worry about getting your money in smart and taking down the pot, if that means over betting it to win a small pot then you do that, or maybe it means play passive so you don't donate chips to a loose player if they end up hitting. The key to poker is adjusting to the game you're playing and take advantage.

Read and written a lot on this subject but never seen the betting rule explained that way. Appreciate you sharing that, lot of great information there.

As it is said, practice makes perfect and I think I'll need to concentrate a little more (for me), if I truly want to improve my game. So many distractions can hinder the outcome, as well. Sometimes I'm on, sometimes I'm not. Thanks!
Practice does make perfect and so does showing up for class and not playing hookie in Vegas with an influential crowd. Shaking head at kids these days.

naked raw aggression has its down-side too. if i'm playing against someone who c-bets 100% of the time it makes playing them out of position easier. they are just giving away chips. why bet when i know my opponent will do it for me. imo you need aggression tempered with reading skills and patience as well as the all mighty position.

I am a tight aggressive type. I think that is the best way to play.
