if you want to learn poker, the best way is to search the internet and find some backgrounder.
you can find a lot of them, including strategy to use.

the way I started was by playing sit n gos. You can get a lot of hands for a small price and learn to play in a lot of situations. Play 9 handed to headsup and play with big stacks compared to the blinds as well as short stacks. After you play them for a while hopefully you will learn some, but then read forums and books. If you dont know things like pot odds I would recommend Harrington on Holdem series. Its just the basics but you can crush the micros with the basics.

The best and the only way to learn how to play is by PLAYING, its like studies, first u pay, then u learn and finally u make money

the best way to learn is not on the internet you will pick up shitty habits here and then think your some kind of poker god like most of the people on poker owned lol
