Best way to halt a losing streak

Been playing for several years and have hit a serious down streak. What have you found is the best way to halt one (besides giving it up altogether)

When I hit a serious down streak, I start looking for things to put near the computer (and that I can rub):

• lucky coins
• poker ring
• pot of gold figurine
• poker chips

I also try to post things online like leprechauns, horseshoes, unicorns

And then eat a lot of Chinese food to get the Fortune Cookies
