go into chat and blast away for few minutes unti u realize you are talking to human beings. then well guess poker is over for the day. unless its still early in the day, or play wild and see if that helps.

The biggest thing keeping me from being a solid winner for the first year I played was my monster tilt problem. If you have trouble learning I recommend the book "The Psychology of Poker" by Jared Tendler. It's a solid book on tilt management. If anyone says he doesn't tilt he is either a cyborg or he is lieing. Everyone tilts, it's just a matter of how long, how bad, and how often. It is a trait that comes with time, explaining why many players are losers for years than become solid winners as they mature psychologically.

Discipline can be taught, but it's also about understanding yourself - you can BS and say "oh it was bad luck" but you can't lie to yourself when you know deep down you were monkeyshit tilting. Find out what triggers make you tilt, and spot them and learn to stop playing if you can't control it. The spiraling downward affect is really bad for your bankroll.

very interesting. yeah could get frustrating. but like they said never good to play even on tilt. been there done that and lost a bunch. hard not to play but its better in long run. like somebody said play fun steps on carbon so wont matter
