He called...Flipped up his A8 like we thought he had...river came 10c givin him the boat ...After all that I was only down like 15 or $20 from what I initially bought in for...ended the day making $365 still so it was still a positive day for me just a sickk hand

oh man thats so sick tough break man figured he was holdin trips was hopin u'd say river missed him and u won. did this happen on carbon?? just curious i've had sick beats like that there a lot. funny you can always remember the bad beats play by play i can't tell you 1 good bad beat story out of the couple i have that i came out on top of for nuthin in the world or any big pot wins for that matter not what the hand was ect.... lol

Haha noo it was at a live cash game...I had about two weeks off from school so i was playing about everyday in there and that happened to be one of the situations I got stuck in...got it back up to my original stack and then made about half of what i bought in for with pocket qqs and then next hand got AQ...went to another table a little later and then doubled up there and grinded it out for a bit

Theres a live tournament I'm playing in tomorrow at noon, placed 2nd last week in it..So I want to cash in that then they have another one at 8ish that I want to go ahead and play in that one (I haven't played that tournament yet) and then play another deep stack 7k guarantee on Sunday

man i miss live tourneys i'm a better tourney player than the ring games lived in vegas for 2 years used to play at the southpoint back in chicago now and tho we have the indiana's casinos i don't find any tournament play there the rooms are huge tho but i haven't seen a bad beat jackpot or a quads str8 flush royal flush jackpot like in vegas. where u playin at ????

Daytona poker room...They have Hourly high hands for cash games and a bad beat jackpot...There actually having the heartland poker tour main event there which I'll probably be in, there doing small Mtt's (like 4 tables) for seat tickets now

Thanks I'm guessing its going to be a huge field since they've been advertising it for months it seemed (or probably one month, I'm just there too much)...I don't think I'll have a problem getting into the main event, and I feel I can navigate my way through most of it, but I do know the group of guys that I usually go play with want to play in it too and there a bunch of sharks so it should be interesting ...Haven't really watched too many episodes of the heartland, but they do have episodes playing on the tv's at the cash games so every once in a while I'll catch part of a hand
