Depends how the other players see you. They can call ur all-in with a marginal hand, ya?

from what I've seen you want to shove at 10bb because ,any lower and you lose fold equity ,the abilty to make people fold.I'VE shoved all in with rags before
on the button against stacks I could criple or kill(with no callers before me).Last edited by tex; 11-09-2013 at 12:52 PM.

Shoving is better because it is more likely to deter a player from calling in which case they could possibly catch something on the flop

It is probably already mentioned but at the moment I don't want to read through six pages of posts. Basically simply put folding is better than limping with 10bb or < because we all know how often we will miss the flop and of course if we miss we don't know if opponent hit or not so we could push then where they would have hit and be snapped off.
Shoving pre has the bonus known as FOLD EQUITY, its a plus because if they fold we win regardless of if we have the better hand or not or if they could suck out on us or not. I might add limping is horrible regardless of blinds, raise or fold IMO will be rare cases where a limp would be the recommendation.

As good a player as Daniel Negreanu is I think he missed his calling in life.He could of made a billion as hedge or mutual fund manager, good video.
