It's all about being good at that game... once you learn how to play em. they can be easy money. of course there is always a bad beat, but it's like that with any game. that and they are a much quicker game to finish

Double up is not my fav :/ Have tried couple times and I had won only once and loss everything else lol ( have not played them so much though)
Regular 9ppl sng's are my stuff

i only play the double up whenever i have a really low amount of money. the odds are 50/50 which is better than playing for hours in a 1000 man tournament for the same buy-in and not winning because someone sucked out on your on the river.

It looks like both sides have been conveyed in this thread. I will add that the "Purest" generally don't play them unless they are on a bad run elsewhere. Great place to ride out a bad run streak!
