If I'm under 7bb and nowhere near the bubble I will shove with about 75% of hands. 5bb is a mandatory shove imo (unless you are near the bubble).

Lot of reasons to shove, fold equity, protecting a hand (difference between limit and NLHE), short stacked, to get isolation and handful of other reasons. Great part about this game is the variables in why people do things. Makes playing these forum games with those variables defined (history), the factors become less unknown, giving fold, call or raise more intrinsic value.

This game has a lot of variables like mrpokerverse said and each situation on going all in is different. The mandatory shove should be under 5 big blinds and usually this will happen when u lose an all in and left with 5 big blinds. And antes can play a huge part. With no antes, u can get downa little shorter while with antes, other players will get the right odds to call a 7 big blind all in.
