I only ever late register when I'm actually running late. I don't really see late reg as a good strategy, not sure why some people do it for tactics, but hey, if it works for you then do it.

It honestly for lazy people! You get an advantage playing more hands!

Registering before late add in Carbon tournaments is a waste, especially in the deep ones. You can play for five hours and odds are you will min cash or win slightly more than the minimum. Or you can register late, play for an hour or two and min cash easily, or more with a little luck. The blind and payout structure is pretty bad for most of there tournaments imo. I'd rather it be harder to cash and end up with a decent prize for my time.

There is no advantage to late registration. If you don't want to play against the donks preflop, you will be able to get a few hands in when the blinds are low that are not preflop all ins. Worst case play a few select hands where you are likely to have much more than a coin flip advantage and see if you can double up (AA, KK)

i dno i feel like if the player has no worries late reg will not matter. with the way all internet poker is set up though, late registration is almost a waste of time.

I think that it could be useful to late register if you are more likely to pay poorly or see too many flops bc the blinds are so cheap...

Honestly to a certin extent i believe that late registration is a good thing, it provides time for other player who arent able to make the specific time play. Also it gives others a chance to see what the competition looks like, it can be either a soft field or a very challenging one. you'll be able to observe others caliing the river with bottom pair, or you'll be able to catch a player make a value bet seem like a bluff very wisely.
