I agree with Steph why reraise there you are deep enough that you can justify flatting to see the flop and trying to take his stack if you hit a set.Or depending on your read and image you can try a play post flop.By the way you describe this hand you would have had position after the flop....Standard play is see the flop in position or jam fold OOP the later depends on stack/blinds and your read.

Overplaying small pocket pairs is also a problem for a lot of people. They just want to see the flop but dont get the right price. Pairs are most effective deep stack.

I just call and wait for the flop... if I get my third card, I try pretend I don?t have anything and just call, and later I shove after the river...
