    It is the best hand you can have, preflop that is. And if played correctly you can profit on it very often. Sharking posted a good thread regarding pocket aces that is worth checking out. To many players get caught up with the fact they have aces and lose focus on the hand. They assume they have aces and they'll win and that's why this hand costs so many inexperienced players a lot of money.

    What? Are you referring to the min bet's by the player with Aces? It doesn't matter what he would have bet post flop, the player would have lost. And as stated earlier, the cold call preflop wasn't a poor play, just poor outcome.
