that be poker, it happens. However given you flat pre obv his shov was to rep an A in hopes that you did not have one considering. UL for you that he managed to suck out the revered 6 but also sounds like he made the raise pre and the range to just flat call (like you said for 1/3 of your stack with a strong A or nice pair probably should be reshoving as opposed to committing yourself essentially without a made hand) is obv lots of hands that would not include an A so given that situation I wouldn't fault his shove either, but yes very unlucky for you.
Just my thought on the situation obv, taking an outside view.
