i am strictly following the strategy guide by pokerstrategy. its actually very effective in the long run. although the tournament/sit n go strategy is a bit too tight to be effective and most of the time it is very likely to get blinded out.

Attempting to put people on one specific hand WILL lose you money in the long run. "Reads" are all about expectation versus what you perceive their RANGE (as in not just one hand) is, I don't really care what he has specifically in this hand..............

Plagiarize much in HS? If you're going to re-post my words at least comment with an original thought. You're free to disagree, but at least do something that stimulates some discussion.

Jcolee2: It's funny how perfectly you're avatar represents your mental capacity.

sadat022: Never heard of this. Seeing as how this is a thread for hand analysis, could you explain how it applies to an actual hand.

i usually don't take chances like that. but when i do this is what it turns out to be and all i can do later on is regret. because i only the top 20 hands and fold everything else pre-flop. no exceptions.

A6s is NOT a top 20 hand. This is a snap fold (ill explain further if you would like), and you cannot worry about the times you fold and a flush comes out or you hit your ace. That is called being results oriented. Would you have called if your hand was A6o?

it's kinda hard to make a decision because I don't know the table image of the other people but with 2 all in's in front of you, don't know what the second guy has in chips because you only mentioned the one villain, I'd say you should probably fold there. At best your in a race and that's not something you want against 2 people.
