    When i have pocket jacks I usually win with them 50% of the time and lose the 50%. I have been winning with them alot lately.

    I could not agree more.In fact, I would have written a very similar response earlier if I wasn't so lazy. I think that more often times than not your hand isn't important. Start thinking about what your opponent has, and what your opponent thinks you may have. You have to understand that both of you are telling a story.

    I usually just make a standard raise with them and then see what comes on the flop. If any over cards come then I assume I'm probably behind and just play cautiously from then on. I don't find them to be much different than any other pair except Kings or Aces.
