    I play a little looser in the early stages of tourneys, see more flops than later tourney play....chip management is crutial in tourneys!!!

    IMO tight early is usually the way to go in first few rounds of early blinds. That being said dont be a robot and only play AA or KK. Try to play each table differently, get a read on the players at the tables. Its a marathon not a sprint.

    I usually try to play freeroll tournaments pretty close to how I would play a regular buy in tournament.

    I find it very hard to play tight in freerolls!!

    Yes, I've heard a lot of poker players on different forums say they start tight and loosen up as the tourney proceeds but to me this is the best time to play hands like suited connectors as long as you can get in cheap or look for weak players in the blinds ,if you can build some sort of lead you might be able to survive the bad beat that's coming.

    im always tight mid way thru after i got good read on table ill loosen up really loose late sounds like sex

    Tight play in the initial phase, the average try to play more loosely, while in the late phase of very tight.
