Lastnight was the first time iv played in real life torney in 3yrs, it was fun but didnt do so well, think i was the 2nd player down lol but ill do better next time for sure, like it more thn the online, online is jus easier i guess lol

Yep I think it all is about practice and getting comfortable in the situation. The cards are still the same. No doubt it will get better.

I've had a rough go of it adjusting to live play -- I get in the top 20-30% but run out of time before I hit shove-or-fold.
There's a lot more to process and control: one's own tells, those of others, and so on. The physicality is weird to me.

I just started playing live for the first time a couple of months ago my strat is just to shove pf, in tourneys anyways

im so much better live than nonline. i dont know what it is about how much better i play when its live cash games or tournaments. i remember the first tournament i ever played in at a local indian casino. 60 ppl or so 20 buy in 10 add on and one rebuy. took it down for 600 and change. out of lets say 15 live tournaments i ever played final tabled 8 of em and won 2 with a 2nd place finsih also

I love live tourneys. I do better in tourneys then cash live. but i been staying local and playing cash lately but i am due for a 2 day trip to AC for some tourney time.

I am glad that I started in live poker because it is a much easier transition live to online than the other way around. Either way it is just a matter of getting experience getting used to the dynamics of live play.

I liked playing live. It can definitely be way more social, just hearing the regulars tell stories and jokes. Obviously, it is way slower than online and unless you're on a rush, you can get board pretty quickly.

i never play live poker i hope some day i will
