Yep I think it all is about practice and getting comfortable in the situation. The cards are still the same. No doubt it will get better.

I've had a rough go of it adjusting to live play -- I get in the top 20-30% but run out of time before I hit shove-or-fold.

There's a lot more to process and control: one's own tells, those of others, and so on. The physicality is weird to me.

im so much better live than nonline. i dont know what it is about how much better i play when its live cash games or tournaments. i remember the first tournament i ever played in at a local indian casino. 60 ppl or so 20 buy in 10 add on and one rebuy. took it down for 600 and change. out of lets say 15 live tournaments i ever played final tabled 8 of em and won 2 with a 2nd place finsih also

I am glad that I started in live poker because it is a much easier transition live to online than the other way around. Either way it is just a matter of getting experience getting used to the dynamics of live play.

I liked playing live. It can definitely be way more social, just hearing the regulars tell stories and jokes. Obviously, it is way slower than online and unless you're on a rush, you can get board pretty quickly.
