Small pocket pairs should be played by trying to see the flop early in the tourny except if you are shot stack or the final table..also it depends on position..

I'd say if you don't hit your set with a small pocket pair, be ready to release it INSTANTLY if you have no other draws

i find limping in with pocket pair if you have plenty of chips to be the better play and then slow play if you hit trips

i have been know to overplay my small pocket pairs when i first started playing this game....but lately ive been doing better at just seeing a cheap flop or folding to a raise when i think im beat

88 or lower limp in every time see a flop see what happens 99 or better im raising

I'm about the same as jbetta , but a lot depends on stack size...both me and the blinds. Affects wether i presure a shortstack or go careful with a chipbully.

I seem to have the opposite problem I let go of my pp's too easy. I noticed players going all the way to the river with their pp's with straight and flush possibilities on the board and winning because they have good reads i'm assuming but I can't seem to do that.
