    hmmmm no and no

reread the first sentence on what he said .... "I know statistically Ak vs 22 is a coin flip..." <-more or less right 22 is a slight fav but its commonly referred to as a flip. He didn't say it was a fav he said it was a flip ... there is a difference.

"AK is ranked 8 hands better then 22..." again more or less right (how many hands higher it is varies from source to source). It also varies how many people are seeing the flop.

Ak is ranked higher then 22 by starting hand requirements even though it is technically behind IF its heads up. Just two of the reasons why its ranked higher ...

One) if you wiff the flop with either hand the AK can often continue where the 22 cannot. See the example I already gave you.

Two) 22 runs the risk of getting counterfeited. For example on a final board where its something like 4488Q the 22 hand is absolutely worthless, the ak hand may very well be the best hand.

    -------------------
the odds change slightly if they share suites or not, but it is closer to 52/48 then it is 50/50

i think with AK the real risk is if your against KK or AA, it happens sometimes and in those times if u have gone all in thats too bad...
