I've got to come up with a different strategy. In other fourm tournaments with a majority of good (sane) players i can hold my own. But that style of playing doesn't work here. Seems no hand is a good hand to play against the kind of players playing here now. Of course these same players are the ones you would love to run up against in a cash game. So I'll continue to serach to figure out what works now. See y'all on the felt.

I have been failing as well wagon, I think a factor also, is there are alot more players and the blinds are only 8 min which tosses it into turbo mode rather quickly.
I have not come up with a good strategy as of yet for them and am just considering not playing them anymore, they tilt me now a days.

I know i haven't been on the site long... but in the matter of time that I have I have noticed a change in play. There are a lot of new players who are treating this like a true freeroll (donkathon). They don't care what 2 cards they have or what the price is to get into the hand they are all over it! When in all actuality this is not a freeroll. You have to use your points which most of us use our valuable time to gather, so its not a complete freeroll! I think it is a total shame that there are some out there that are completely taking the fun and the skill out of the game!

I hear ya allheart, best you can do is be little more cautious in the first 30-45mins of play. And definitely Tag (label) everyone you play, you'll surely see them next PO Freeroll.

For Example, Do this... it helps me so much!
Modify your "Player Tags" under Settings > Tag Settings:
[green checkmark]
(T) Tight
[red x]
(L) Loose
[crowns]
(TAG) Tight Aggressive
(TP) Tight Passive
[chips]
(LP) Loose-Passive
(LAG) Loose-Aggressive
and of course... keep that "Fish" tag"You miss 100% of the shots you never take" - Wayne Gretzky

The only time poker is not for fun, is HU.
I look at MTT tourneys or ones with more than 2 ppl as donkathons are purely for fun. The only time you'll truly be tested is 1v1 since some random person can't all of a sudden call with 3-4os coz they're bored."We have met the enemy and they are ours; two ships, two brigs, one schooner and one sloop." --- O.H. Since the tourneys are turbos, it's best to play kind of fast.
