I open 3x bb from EP leaving me with 1300 behind. LP villain shoves for 1900. Fairly tight player from what Ive seen so I decided to lay it and pick another battle later...

At the micro stakes is that a bad fold pre-flop? I think at best im flippin against overs which is a little early on for my taste.

if was against a very tight player u did good.i think u are facing KK or AA.if he had AQ,AK or QQ he just call.

I think it's the right call no matter what. Early in a sng you don't to get your stake in. You will itm more consistantly if you follow that rule. JJ becomes so much stronger 4 handed then 8. Calls there are ok. Remember you can't itm if someone donks you or you run into a bigger hand that early. My opinion, but I like to think I cash more often then not playing sng's. That has always been my philosphy.
