I was like waut what they said oh you won a place into the big 550 buyin on th 26th. Now im freaking the last 19 years all i have done is play only poker now i have to go to this live multi table 75k thing and hope to god i dont send out a bunch of tells. Just 1 bit of advice. Don't Hollywood too much. So often I see players huffing and sighing like they have tough decision. Then it's "ok I'm allin". They always have big hand. Just try to act same no matter what you have. I don't play big tournaments so no expert by any stretch. Gl hope you take it down

I just played some live poker .. My best advice take your time , and don't try to do things you normally wouldn't do because of its a bigger event .. Play your game .. The players at the lower levels are idiots don't worry about tells , and play your game gl.

My suggestion is just play poker and have fun. Play your best and pretend like you are playing a 10$ buy in tournament. Good luck and have FUN!

I see that the tourney you mentioned has already happened, update on result? If I had got my comment in on time I would say that the most important factor for me in live tourneys is preparation for a marathon of sitting. Always eat and drink well the day before and get good rest. If your nerves are high or if you keep mentally obsessing on the upcoming event go to bed 1 or 2 hours early and visualize good results until your relaxed enough to rest. The day of event eat a high protein breakfast, and pre-plan what your going to do for lunch and dinner. Lastly remember the saying 'dress good look good, look good feel good, feel good play good'. Good luck.
