Like scooterdice already said, play very tight :-) play only when you have good cards, otherwise you will lose your money. And of course, you have to have lucky with your cards…

In 2004 I started playing poker, at some rev site like cake but it was a oldschool site i do not remember the name, anyway they gave you 11 dollars free when you open a account. Instantly, anyways turned that into over 11k within 3 weeks. I played out of my bank roll limits, 5/10 NL with 600 and built that 600 up to 11k. It can be done....put my mom through nursing school.
Also a year later I made a small 200 deposit at fulltilt and turned that into 13k. I lost alot back tho. I do not know when to quit sometimes, and will play for 3 to 4 days straight with no sleep. Ya...
Anyways grinding works, also In my opinion you have to eventually take some kind of risk, ie playing over your limits to increase your roll to a sizeable ammount.
GOOD LUCK
