Losing patience is detrimental to a good poker player. There are plenty of bad beats, long waits for good cards, and being bet out of a pot. In straight odds, on a ten man table - your chances are one in ten with the assumption you stay in each of the hands. Any tourney with a large pool of players requires patience.
