It was three years ago i decided to take a break for poker, i still played a lil bit on computer but no real life games at all, till last friday, I bought in to the cash game for 80, within 15 mins i already had over 300, I left the table to smoke and eat came back and my second hand made 130 more so I cashed out and called it a night. Sat. night rolls around, bought in for 150, took me a lil longer with some ups and downs but still cashed out at 560, so two days made a nice lil bankroll..got a lil hop n my step now lol

Always a much better chance to build a roll live than online. 100x easier to get a read to change your play accordingly. Well done, Killer Ace. Keep it up.

Quite the difference in them both but in the end I think you need to have that lady luck on your side

That's a pretty good return! Where were you playing and how was the table playing? Where I live the 1/2 NL games are that good but the swings can be crazy with all the fish playing everything and getting drunk. There is much less bankroll variance online multi-table. In my opinion online is the best place to pick up on betting patterns which are usually very exploitable on a casino on Saturday. Keep it up Ace, both arenas will definitely contribute to your game!

Always nice to hear a good story from a member here. How was you playing? sounds like it was a VERY loose table, which is dam good if your hitting lol

Nicely done Killer Ace.
I never played live poker (and i'm almost on my forty's lol), been playing internet poker a couple of years. But, beliave it or not, i'm afraid to ridiculize myself when playing live. I'm so used to let the software doing it all that I really don't know some of the raise/re-raise rules, among others... Sounds silly, I know

if your made such good money why quit the table so early(seems like) the first time... sounds like you played for maybe 45 min.... could be wrong tho... but if your winning never leave till you have it all

IMO live cash is much easier to pick up money than internet if youre a decent player, picking up tells from players you cant online is key. If you go to a local casino near a university like myself, half the table is inexperienced and are easy to read off of
