just got beat with a full boat jacks over aces by kings over aces to me that is a bad beat. most only consider quads getting beat to be considered a bad beat

Yeah jackpot-wise bad beats are for quads or better.

I consider it to be a bad beat whenever i win a hand... doesn't happen often, and if it does i surely did something wrong

IMO a bad beat is any hand i lose where i was ahead preflop plain and simple... if you dont feel same way thats your opinion not facts!! read definition of bad beat..

not a bad beat at all you have never had a bad beat till you flop quad 7777 and lose that sucked for me not to mention I bubbled in a $11.00 buy-in game

there are bad beat jackpots which clearly defines the term bad beat. It is getting beat with a strong hand by a stronger hand. There is no pre flop involved it is say quad 4s losing to quad 5s etc. So not so much on a persons play but on their final hand.
