It is obviously so that they can make the guarantees larger which is fine in my opinion although 3 hours does seem to be a little excessive.

About the only tournies I consider using late reg myself are sometimes the 1R1A tournies as it can help to reg right before rebuy ends. Another is satties with R/A
I do agree anything over 1 hour is way to long except for some of the biggest tourniesLast edited by ubeenshanked; 01-07-2014 at 11:46 AM.

yeah depends on how far the tourney is in and if it's a turbo. I dont like buying in a little late for most part instead of playing from beginning

Sixty minutes is fine..120 minutes is too long..180 minutes is plain silliness. First of all, I don't have that much time to wait for registration to be done, and what will your reward be for the length of time you spend with the game? What kind of prizepool are we talking about, as well.

A little late registration is fine... like 5 or 10 minutes.... It depends on what kind of tourney it is though
