I see the only benefit to this is if its right on the money and you think someone's going to get knocked out relatively quick buying in late when everyone else is super deep stacked is just throwing money away. I personally like buying in as early as possible in order to see more hands at a lower blind level and hopefully his a monster pair (AA KK) or a set on a flop/flush/str8 etc. more hands you see at lower blind levels the better.

I try to enter the last level before antes in NLHE but in Omaha there is no antes so I enter late as possible sometimes
