How many of you use the notes section on poker clients to keep notes? I do alot espically for cash games....it makes it easier for me to pick a table to sit at.

more interesting thing I would like to know is how you all are going about keeping notes I mainly just take notes on what people go all in with and also how aggressive they tend to be

I also do some notes, if I identify the playing style of an opponent.

I kept copious notes on Full Tilt because I tended to play the same games over and over again. If you are just putting random comments like DONK, or AGGRESSIVE, I am not sure they will be helpful at other tables (cash vs tourney, high vs low stakes, etc). I would much rather have hand histories and stats than my comments that I have left at any one particular time. The exception to this is people who I play against a lot, such as forum opponents, who I still take frequent notes on.

do you ever make notes and separate them depending on the type of card game?

I usually put notes only on bad players and players to avoid (sharks). I only keep notes on players in cash tables, really no point doing it in tournies, imo.
