Thanks, I appreciate it.
Yeah, I used to play a lot of MTTs with varied results. I really don't like the high variance of playing MTTs, but I have been buying into them with VIP points, min cashing a few times.
To get rakeback through Carbon I just sent an email to their customer support asking them if I could receive it. They claimed they would reply within 24 hours with their automated reply but it didn't happen. It took more like a week or so before they replied saying they would review my account, then within a day or two they said I was enrolled in their rakeback program.
I receive %35 rakeback each day via their contributed rake method. I guess I will earn VIP points at a slower pace, and not be able to exchange them for cash, but at this point its a trade off im willing to accept.

Small update:
Jumped back onto the tables tonight as I opened Carbon and seen there was a (lol)decent amount of people at the 4NL full ring tables compared to the ridic low amount throughout the day. Man am I glad I did. Played ~1500 hands resulting in the most profitable session so far with +$25.69.
Total bankroll as of now is $82.74 which means I am officially rolled for 4NL with 20 buyins. Yay me lol.
Will update either later tonight or tomorrow with my bankroll management plan. Maybe some weekly/monthly goals (mainly volume related) or something. For now Ill post a hand I would like some feedback on. Thanks.
Villain is 17/10/39(AFq)/3(3bet) over ~550 hands.
Merge - $0.04 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3
SB: $5.42
BB: $3.94
UTG: $4.70
UTG+1: $4.19
MP: $3.93
MP+1: $2.89
Hero (CO): $6.21
BTN: $4.80
SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.04
Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero has 8:club: A:spade:
fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.12, fold, fold, BB calls $0.08
Flop: ($0.26, 2 players) A:heart: 5:club: 9:spade:
BB checks, Hero bets $0.17, BB calls $0.17
Turn: ($0.60, 2 players) 8:heart:
BB checks, Hero bets $0.40, BB raises to $1.80
What range can we give villain in this spot with the big (4.5x) check raise on the turn? Whats the best action to take in this spot?

Took a couple days off of the cash game grind for the Thanksgiving holiday. Just relaxed ate some food, watched some football, and played a few freerolls. All in all it was a pretty good Thanksgiving. I registered for two of the Carbon Thanksgiving freerolls, one Pokerowned freeroll, one of the Raketherake freerolls, and one Carbon nightly freerolls.
I busted the first Carbon Thanksgiving one pretty early. Was down to about 10bbs and open shoved 88 on the button and was called by TT and didn't improve. I ended up falling asleep before the second one started and slept all the way through it so I didn't play any of that one. I bubbled in the PO freeroll. Had a short stack on the bubble and open shoved QQ. Two players called, one with JJ, the other with AA and didn't improve. I went out early in the Raketherake freeroll. Had JJ on a flop of J82 with two spades. Got it all in on the flop versus a queen high flush draw which got there on the turn and I didn't fill up on the river. In the nightly Carbon $50 freeroll I ended up placing 4th out of ~3000 players for a profit of $3.50 which was fun, although didn't do much for the bankroll. So it was pretty fun playing a few MTTs even if I didn't make much.
I came up with a rough draft for a BRM plan I will stick to, although I will probably end up tweaking it before too long.
As of now I have a total bankroll of $86.61 which is ~21.5 buyins for 4NL. For now I will continue with 4NL until I have two buyins for 10NL on top of the 20 buyins for 4NL (so $100 total BR). At that point I will replace two of my regular 4NL tables with two 10NL tables. As I continue to grow my bankroll I will replace one 4NL for a 10NL table for every additional buyin I gain of 10NL. So when I reach $110 I will have three tables of 10NL, at $120 it will be four, etc. etc. until I have made my way to having every table at 10NL. If at any point I drop to $80 I will go back to all tables of 4NL and go through the same process. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that but I am not ashamed to drop down levels if BRM dictates.
So that for now is a rough draft of the BRM plan I will follow. Its basically the same I used in the past when progressing the microstakes on Fulltilt and seemed to work decently enough.
So now a few weekly/monthly volume goals I hope to reach.
Weekly I want to play at least 5000 hands, so monthly I hope to reach at least 20000. This should be relatively easy. As of now, with 4 tables average running per session, I am averaging just over 250 hands per hour. So to reach my goals I have to play 4 hours a day for 5 days out of the week. That is only with 4 tables running, lately I have been playing 6-7 if there are enough players online.
When I have 6 tables running on average for the session I am getting roughly 400-450 hands per hour. So if I play the same amount of hours per day per week I will get in roughly 8500 hands per week, and 34000 per month.
Those volume goals should be pretty easy for me to reach so I will probably up them within a few weeks. I hope to start trying to reach those starting next week.
So I think that's pretty much it for now. Going to grab something to eat then probably get to grinding. Good luck to everyone.

Its been a while since I last updated this thread so I figure Ill do it now.
I have been sticking with the BRM plan and it has been working, however the results have been up and down.
At 10NL I am down 1.5 buy ins, although most of that was due to tilting off the large majority of a buy in when I should have just shut down the tables. The limit is basically they same as 4NL, I actually see some of the same players at 10NL as I was playing at 4NL so it helps to have some hands on people. The only drawback is that the player pool at 10NL FR is very small, with only a few tables running most of the time.
At 4NL I am up ~10 buy ins so no complaints there. More then made up for the losses at 10NL.
As for my volume goals they are going extremely well. Over the 10 days since the last update I have played 14.9k hands. So 14.9k hands / 10 days = 1400 hands per day. If I keep up that pace I can play ~7k hands per 5 day week (2k more then my goals) which will give me ~28k hands per month (8k more then my previous goals. So overall I am doing great on my volume goals.
So to wrap it up over the 10 days since my last update I have:
Played 14.9k hands
Started taking shots at 10NL
Profited $25.47
Resulting in a total bankroll (rakeback included) of $122.70

congrats J Slice, way to stick to good bankroll management. I'm hoping to join you at 10NL in January.
