I had to try many different methods out before I got comfortable at cash games. I actually never expected to end up playing the style that I do now when I started, but it was only after learning about BR management that I was able to play with the right mindset for winning with the style that fits me.

stick to one game plan. Be a master at that game , and then work on moving up to play against better masters at that level

Play on Merge's systems, and play everyhand that isn't AA, AK, KK, QQ, JJ, KQs, or TT. You'll make money lol

cash games are bad for players who do not have a good BR, somebody who has hundreds is worrying about losing a few bucks they way you would worry if it was your whole BR.. stay with Mtt for now until you have yourself a good sized BR... thank you can try and dip your feet in the water again!

I'm not good at cash games either but, that's because I'm not willing to do what it takes to win and that is find the worst players analize there betting patterns and take advantage of them.
