I never understood why players get all excited and play/bet the way they do when dealt A-K, then again in poker it all depends on the situation.....

I hate ace king suited or unsuited, it doesn't really matter.

i suppose it would have to do with how the table is running alot of donks or some good players. But in ur position it worth a raise. Id raise any way if no ones going.

I can take or leave AK, gets busted too much in freerolls for me. Live in cash games it seems to hold up better, but that is just how I feel.

Usually when I get A K on the flop comes either a Q or a J and two low cards. lol. Its hard to fold it though.

Same way i feel its not the nuts until the flop,turn and river hit other than that just another set of cards.
