some people do it,and although not illegal will lose you a lot of respect among poker players especially in live games I think hit and running depends on the amount won also if you get lucky on a one outer against 6 other players who went all in can understand why but a quick double up just dont seem a good enough profit to really justify it

Meh on hit and runners ... pretty much an annoying but legal strat.
For every poker strategy there is a counter strategy ... figure that out and its a non issue on how they play.

Nothing wrong with hit and run. Don't lose to a hit and run and it won't bother you.

Yeah nothing wrong with hit and run in cash games cause if u start losing u definatley need to leave with as much profit as u can!

i think its bad ettiquette to hit and run, if you win a huge pot at least play a few more hands after like 10 then leave...its just not right.....

yea but one thing online like I said you do that stuff live at a casino(but especially home games) you will lose a lot of respect and with home games you may not get invited back
