playing lots of heads up will increase ur all around ability to do better in any tournament. anyone who has played a long headsup game with a opponent will notice their style suddenly change. A aggressive juggernaut will tighten up after losing a cooler or a fail bluff. adapting to ur opponents play and not wasting chips. checking top pair or betting top pair hard it certainly takes the most skill out of any game.

There is different strategy for different levels and table size which is a skill in itself. Little more luck there than other level but still there is advantage to it.

I think luck plays a small factor. But HU is all about playing the player.
