I hate 6max personally. I avoid it as much as possible. This is mostly because I'm not very accustomed to it tho.

For ring games, I perfer full. A cash game is about exploitation of position, and there's more position opportunity with a full table. You have more blinds to steal, and more people in weak mid-position to take advantage of as well.

I notice that most of the nits sit at full ring and just wait for hands. At 6 max you are forced to be more active

If you're a LAGTARD, go 6 MAX
If you're a NIT, go FULL
If you're PRO, just go wherever the fish are.

it depends on how patient of a player you are...full ring is great for the patient players in my opinion

This.....I prefer 6 max myself because it's more action and i hate folding for an hour before i pick up a hand.....however....if one is a great PLO8 player......I think it would be retarded not to play full ring if you have a huge advantage over an average player....monster pots with multiple fish and your the only one playing to scoop both pots.

Like 6 max on hold'em and full ring for Omaha 8 either NL or limit. It is easier to be profitable at a 6 person table in hold'em.

I like 6 max because you can play more hands, I don't like to sit and wait for aces at a 9 handed table, it's no fun.

I definatly prefer 6 max but don't play a lot of ring games either...not a lot of 6 max tourneys but those are by far my favorite
