Many people over-value AK post-flop. If you miss the flop, don't be stubborn. Re-evaluate, and be prepared to let it go. There's a reason that another name for this hand is "Walking back to Texas."

I called a guy off with qj suited against his ak off once in a $2k pot. I made it $300 to go and he shoved. I was 40% and putting up 35% of the money.
