I played this hand at my local casino the other night. It was an interesting/tough decision. Im still not totally sure whether i made the correct play. Thought i would throw this one out to all you guys.
$1-$2 blinds. Got about $200 to start the hand.
I limped with 88 in early/ middle pos. 2 others called behind me and then the button raised to $10. BB called, and so we took 5 people to the flop.
Flop came 8910 with 2 diamonds. Everybody checked to the button raiser who bet $25. I called and one other player called.
3 People took to the turn card which was a 5 of diamonds. We again checked to the raiser who fired again for $45, leaving about $20 behind. I thought for a little while and decided to fold, and to my dismay the other player folded as well.
Also as a sidenote the player in between me and the button had over $300 making my call that much tougher. I thought it was reasonable that either the button had me beat, and if he didn't then the player in between us probably had turned a flush and was going for the check raise.
It was a Tough position, still dont know what the button had. Give me your thoughts on the hand.
