This is without a doubt impressive. I would like to know whether you are able to do this because of discipline, or if you are actually afraid of losing your bankroll in real money games. I'm not bashing you, just pointing out that if you are more worried about losing your money when you start playing real money games, you're going to start at a disadvantage. Either way, keep up the good work. I wish you the best of luck.

I really plan to get a roll going without a deposit, im sure eventually I will to take advantage of the deposit bonus though. But for now would be bad ass to build from freerolls. I hope to, have first PO one tonight, I tilted and got 40th last night out of 4500+ on a carbon freeroll.

as of today, i too have had some success building a small bankroll. i committed two weeks ago to begin solid fundamental bankroll management.
i took the few dollars i had left over from playing po fr's and began to move into cash games. i had previously been taking whatever i won that night and would usually get donked out of it in the ring games.
i then began to play to my strength in poker, which is with sit and goes. at first, selecting even the smallest stakes meant using a chunk of my little bankroll. but i was determined. at the end of the first week, i had ~$40.00... as of tonight [and progressing], i have $151.00...
all things being equal, the #1 rule i practice is to NEVER play with more than five per cent. repeat: 5% of my bankroll.
i feel that is really the key to ensuring an extended and growing bankroll. this means that as my bankroll increases, 5% means a larger amount to play with.
adding to this, it has been very noticeable as i progress slowly to larger initial stakes, there are fewer and fewer players who meet the typical definition of a 'donkey'.. not only do i appreciate this more, but it serves to continue to help me develop a stronger game as well as help me see where i stand among the competition.
so far so good!

Good post RK, I hope to follow in your steps lol. Other than carbon freerolls, I haven't played online in years, last time was probably 6 years ago when pokerroom.com was still around. I got a laptop for xmas so im looking to get back into it. My only downfall is I need to sick a breathalyzer on my computer, so after building a bankroll, I don't degen it and lose it drunk (see 6 years ago). I use to deposit around 100 bucks there, build it to 1000 or more in a few days, RARELY cash out most of it, and dump it all back in a drunken stupor

Good run in tourney!
That's great man! It's hard to cash once you reach higher blind levels.
