Very nice fold. But why didn't you bet that flop? I would never check AA on that flop against 2 opponents. I probably would bet it against a lone opponent as well depending on their position, how loose tight they play and if they also have a decent stack size too.
I bet into the lone opponent mainly to get an idea on how interested they are in the flop. This is especially true if they are in the blinds but also against a late position caller who likes to see flops with a hand that could contain a jack. Obviously I always bet if the caller is a calling station. I want to build a pot and he will come along for the ride with most of his holdings. Only folding on the river when he completely misses.
I usually do not make a large bet though but a rather smallish bet to see how interested my opponents are post flop. If they were in the blind I want to see if they check raise me in which case I would be very wary that they have a jack in their hand. But don't bet too small against an aggressive opponent or he might pounce on you thinking that you are weak rather than having Aces. These situations are dependent on the various variables involved but generally speaking I don't want to let 2 opponents see the turn for free in most circumstances because it tends to backfire. Aces are vulnerable and yet they can also be tough to get away from when they don't improve and the board get wet!Last edited by weewayz; 12-11-2013 at 05:21 AM.

You gotta bet the flop IMO. Fold on the river is standard.
