10k new depositor freeroll on carbon, so were just shit out of luck?

So I was sitting around 94th with 1700 players remaining of almost 2700 in the new depositor freeroll on carbon, when the tournament inexplicably gets shut down by the site. And from the message they sent to the players, its looks like were shit out of luck. Anyone have any information on this? Has it happened there before?

there saving money by shutting down freerolls, I am getting tired of this site, I miss playing at real sites like pokerstars

I was in too... This is the fourth or fifth time this shit has happened... Im strongly thinking about not playing on there anymore... might start playing on bovada or another site fulltime now.... POKERSTARS PLEASE COME BACK TO USA!!!

my bankroll is at four cents, i was trying to get back into the swing of tournament play, (but it looks like bankroll management is my big problem) but I had been looking forward to this tournament all week. arg....
