I specifically asked them why I was told 8 weeks, but it's now been over 4 months. This is their reply (you be the judge):

Hi,

Quite simply, our processors can only send so many withdrawals at any given time. The volume of withdrawal requests can only be sent at the rate of our processor and not as fast as we would all like. When there are more withdrawals than our processor can send, it causes a backlog which causes delays. But with the launch of our new platform we have implemented new solutions to start processing payouts at a faster rate and work though our backlog.

Your payout should not be much longer at all and as soon as it has been sent we will email you right away. Thank you again for your patience.

wow that response baffles me. I mean even if every single member requested a pay out on the same day there is no way it SHOULD take 4 months to get through them all even if they had 1 person do all the pay outs which is what they seem to be implying. But i guess if they were just honest and said they were having financial issues then no one would deposit there(which i doubt many people do anyway)

And it's been 5 months now, no check, and I haven't bothered to email them yet. Obviously they would just say, we'll email you when it's sent.... we are working on speeding up the pay times, ... at almost the same pace as the moon is traveling farther away from the Earth... eventually to leave our orbit in about 25,000 years...

next time you're on a Carbon table... take a look at how many of the players are from the US.... almost all of them.... nobody gets paid boyz... come on.... those days are over online.... If you get a check it's gonna be a while and probably NSF... then your bank will likely turn you over to the Feds after you deposit it..... I consider online action practice.... I haven't collected a check in over 4 years now... Ultimate Bet locked me out with a significant bankroll... I have bankrolls at Juicy and Carbon and FullTilt.... none of which I can cash out... Carbon will deduct the amount I request from my balance and then tell me that someday they might start sending payments to Louisiana again... I haven't tried to cash out at Juicy yet... but I think I'm gonna try $100 just for the hell of it... FullTilt and PokerStars tell me I can play "play money" games only and ignore my inquiries about my bankrolls

bovada and intertops - from what I know= pay the fastest. its worth paying the $50 to get it right away, typically around 2 weeks from request - or less, intertops was 10 days - any site that offers free payouts will take forever - if at all
