carbonpoker freerolls are gone

Just signed on to Carbon for the first time in a week and I see that there are no Freerolls listed. I saw comments elsewhere in the forum that stated the same. Does anyone know what's going on? No guesses just the facts if you have them. Are they gone or is it a temporary thing? I looked their site over but did not find any news.

Read somewhere on 2+2 that they took away the funsteps and were going to replace them with something else at a later time. Maybe that something else is coming soon? Who knows.

I'm not going to miss carbon freerolls, I loved funsteps though, I could grind those for hours everyday across multiple skins.

there was so many players in there freerolls it just took forever to get to the money.

I e-mailed carbon to ask the same thing and they told me that they were trying something different. Me personally thinks that it is becoming just a money site.

i got my red ribbon in a freeroll many years ago on poker.com which became merge - never deposited before that - once i had money I was hooked.

They did away with the freerolls. I am not sure "why" which is the real question. America's cardroom has new freerolls that are "on demand/SNG" though, which are good to play since you can play them anytime. At least you are part of a great poker community that provides freerolls on Carbon though. I'm glad I found this place.

yeah.... I was wondering the same thing... I don't see any Carbon freerolls on their site at all... guess they don't feel like giving away free money anymore
